Length of School Instructional Time Increases Twenty Minutes Per Day
On Thursday, December 8, 2011, the Board of Trustees for Plainfield Schools approved the administration’s recommendation to increase the elementary building instructional time for the 2012-2013 school day by twenty minutes. The transportation schedule changes, due to the reconfiguration of the elementary schools, allow for one less school pick up and drop off point. This provides for the additional twenty minutes of school day instructional time.
