Decline Services
A parent or legal guardian of an LEP student may decline the participation of their child in the ELL Program. This prequest must be submitted in writing and will be retained in the student's permanent ELL file. Declining ELL Services does not change the student's status as LEP. The student must be included on all state and federal reporting of Limited English Proficient students and is required to participate in the annual English proficiency assessment.
