Lexi Hollingsworth

Meet Lexi Hollingsworth, a PHS graduate who has taught first grade at Central for four years.

In addition to teaching, Lexi serves on the Science and Accelerated Reading committees.

When asked to describe her favorite part of the day, she couldn’t limit it to just one. In her words, “Working with little minds, having a great team to help support and guide me, making learning fun, seeing a child understand a topic,” all add up to a successful day in first grade.

If time were no issue, you might find Lexi enjoying music, plenty of concerts, and travel.

Her thoughts on today’s youth? “Children are capable of many things. They are curious, kind, and always willing to give an honest opinion. They are the leaders of our future world so invest in them, care for them, and guide them to become great.”
