In an effort to reach out and get to know each other better, every week Central recognizes two Employees of the Week. These special employees will be introduced on our morning announcements and will enjoy a front row parking space for the week! This week's employees are Mrs. Diana Harris and Mrs. Alejandra Ortega. Congratulations ladies!
Mrs. Harris is a 5th grade teacher at Central. This is her second year teaching 5th grade at Central, previously she was a Team Time Assistant. She hails from Illinois and went to college at Eastern Illinois. Mrs. Harris and her husband have three daughters and her family loves to go camping and hiking. They just adopted a dog named Bobby. He was rescued from a traveling circus.
Mrs. Ortega is a Title 1 Assistant at Central in her first year with us. She has three beautiful children who go to Van Buren. She enjoys shopping at Target and her favorite candy is chocolate caramel. She also enjoys reading and trying new recipes.
