Finalists named for Plainfield's Teacher of the Year

The committees have met and the finalists for Plainfield's Teacher of the Year (2018) have been selected; earlier today, they were notified by Superintendent Scott Olinger and their building principal. Together, these three teachers have spent 65 years in the classroom!

After the nominations are received, each school selects their Teacher of the Year. Because we have four elementary schools, a committee then meets to choose the elementary teacher who will go on to compete with the Teacher of the Year from the middle and high schools.

We are fortunate to live in a community with the dedication, the professionalism and the passion that our teachers represent. Being selected one of the top three teachers, from such an impressive pool of candidates, is quite an honor.
