I am proud to announce that Pam Speck is Van Buren’s Teacher of the Year. While we had many great teachers to choose from who would have represented Van Buren well at the next level of completion, the combination of Pam’s experience, teaching success, leadership, and volunteer involvement with students in our school community most closely met the criteria outlined by the Teacher of the Year program. She will now compete to represent the elementary schools at the district level.
I am thrilled that we have so many highly qualified teachers under the same roof! Congratulation, Pam.
