Plainfield/Avon Reading Challenge

Plainfield/Avon Reading Challenge: February 6th – 24th

It is time to announce the start of the Eleventh Annual Plainfield/Avon Reading Challenge. This is a contest between Plainfield High School and Avon High School. The Reading Challenge is sponsored by the Media Center. The contest will run from February 6 – 24, 2017. Students may read books, magazines, or newspapers – as long as it is not for a class assignment. Students will then need to show a staff member what they have read and answer a few questions. When a student reads over 500 pages, he or she will be recognized with a locker sign and his/her name posted on the 500 Wall of Fame. The top ten readers from our school will get to throw a pie at Mr. Siefert (yes, our principal), but only if our students read more pages than Avon High School. Please help your child participate in this contest so Plainfield High School can become the Eleventh AnnualPlainfield/Avon Reading Challenge Champion!
